Drake and others have sketched out many different possible scenarios for the weeks and months ahead.
At first we thought that the evolution we have come to know as "The Plan" would be carried out by military and police personnel without the need for citizen participation.
More recent announcements changed that. But the emphasis continues to be on citizens having a nonviolent role.
There are many of us who have chosen not to avail ourselves of our 2nd Amendment rights and responsibilities. If you are like me, this is mainly because I come from an urban family that never had anything to do with any types of weapons. Those of you who are more familiar with the skills of combat might see this as a weakness, and you're probably right.
But we could reach a condition, as has been reached in many other places, where the vast majority of us have little or no access to weapons, and yet the need arises to defend ourselves in the face of oppression. Do non-physical "weapons" exist that we could learn to use to improve our chances for survival in such situations?
I was vaguely aware that such "weapons" do exist. I had even begun to learn to use some of them. But here is a good and rather touching talk on this subject from someone who has studied this problem a little more thoroughly than I have. I cannot say that what she presents is the last word. But it does provide a place to start.
